Curry Mile is a British Indian delivery kitchen operating in the United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

2. What we collect
We collect only what is needed to take, cook and deliver an order, and to run the business behind it.
- Order and delivery data — name, delivery address, phone number, order contents, delivery notes and order history.
- Account data — email address and password (stored hashed) if you create an account in the Curry Mile app.
- Payment data — handled by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
- Communications — messages you send us through in-app chat, email or social channels.
- Technical data — device type, operating system, app version, approximate location if you grant permission, and pages viewed on this website.
3. Why we use it
- To accept, prepare and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
- To take payment and issue receipts.
- To provide customer support and resolve complaints.
- To improve the menu, the app and this website.
- To send marketing messages, only where you have opted in. You can withdraw that at any time.
- To meet legal, tax and food-safety obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only where it is necessary, and only with:
- Delivery riders and dispatch partners, so an order can reach you.
- Ordering platforms — Deliveroo, Careem, Talabat and Noon — where you chose to order through them. Their own privacy policies apply to those orders.
- Payment processors, to take payment securely.
- Technology providers who host the app, the website and our analytics.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data.
5. Cookies and analytics
This website uses a small number of cookies: those needed for the site to function, and analytics cookies that tell us which pages are used. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time through your browser settings.
6. How long we keep it
Order records are kept for [to be supplied by Curry Mile] years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Account data is kept while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw consent, and for a short period after, to prove the withdrawal was honoured.
7. Where it is stored
Personal data is stored on servers located in [to be supplied by Curry Mile]. Where data is transferred outside the UAE, we use providers that offer an adequate level of protection under the Personal Data Protection Law.
8. Your rights
Under UAE data protection law you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete data we no longer have a reason to hold;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent for marketing at any time;
- receive your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, contact us at hello@currymile.ae. We will respond within the period the law allows. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the UAE Data Office.
9. Children
Curry Mile is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. A parent or guardian who believes we hold a child's data should contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk — encrypted connections, access controls and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you and the relevant authority about a breach where the law requires it.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially we will post the new version here and update the date above. Continuing to use Curry Mile after that means you accept the revised policy.
